Peter Palensky is associate Professor at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering and guest researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, California. He is active in international standardization committees like ISO, IEEE and CEN. His main research fields are automation networks, distributed systems, embedded systems, home and building automation and energy management. He is currently teaching “Information Security” and “Design and Manufacturing”.
